Houston Photochrome Club

The Houston Photochrome Club is a very inclusive group. We like having visitors. In fact, visitors are always welcome to attend our meetings, workshops or field trips. However, we require that one must be a member to enter slides or digital images into our competitions.

A new member may enter slide photography into our monthly competition on the meeting night he or she joins, should they so desire. However, since digital images are to be submitted approximately ten days in advance of each meeting, a new member will need to wait until the following meeting to see their digital photography in our competition.

As for our dues, our membership fee structure is as follows:

$25 per year for individual membership

$29 per year for family membership

$21 per year for youth / senior membership

$25 per year for senior family membership

Senior is defined as 65 years of age and over.

Youth is defined as being a high school student, or one of that age, or younger.

Dues for new members are pro-rated on a semi-annual basis. Dues for membership renewals are due in September each year.

For membership, our club only requires a simple form to be completed, payment of dues and an interest in photography.

We customarily email our monthly newsletter to first-time visitors, but only members are sent newsletters on a continual basis. We provide members with pre-printed nametags, which are available at each meeting; and we publish a members' directory. So, membership has its privileges!
